Marcie and Ish Engagement session {Niles, Mi Portrait Photographer}

I had a fantastic time on this Photo shoot.  Marcie and Ish are great family friends, so we had a lot of joking and laughing during this session.

Amelia's first day of Preschool.

Today was a huge day for us here in the Rodgers household.  Amelia, our first born went off to Preschool today.  Little Miss Amelia started her first day at the Learning Tree, which is located at our local YMCA.

We made it a HUGE deal for her.  We bought her new shoes, new skirt and a super cool new Tinkerbell backpack.  She was totally set.  Bryan went into work late today so he could be there to see her off.

I still can't believe she is old enough to go off to Preschool already, It seems like I was just pregnant with her.  How times Really does fly!  Amelia had no problem with us leaving her there.  She was just ready to learn and play.  I was so proud of her.  She will get to go three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Mornings.  Nice.

It was nice this morning though, while Amelia was in class, Norah went to the babysitting room at the Y and I was able to get in an hour of me time.  I went in and walked on the  treadmill and chatted with a friend.  Nice....no kids crying and some adult mommy time!

Once I was done with my work out, Norah and I had some special time together.  I was so nice to just have one on one time with her.  I think she will enjoy that too.  She needs it....

Here are a few pictures of our Morning.  Enjoy.

All Ready to go to her first day of Preschool!
Norah had to get in on the action too.

In Front of her School...Ready to go in.

Waiting in the Lobby to go into class.

Amelia's first dance class.

I was so proud of Amelia today, she started her first dance class.  She did so well...she listened to the teacher, did what the teacher said to do, and in my opinion she did quite well at it.  Amelia is such a girlie girl...so it was right up her alley.  She did great and can't wait to go back next week!  Here are a few photos from her class.

Stretching out

Niles High School Class of 1960, 50 Year Reunion {Niles, MI Event Photographer}

I had the honor to spend a weekend with some Amazing people.  The Class of 1960, from Niles High school.  It was their 50 year class reunion!  They were a fantastic group of people, that welcomed my husband and I in with warm arms.  By the end of the weekend, we were "honorary members" of the class of 1960.

They began their weekend at Riverfront Cafe, on Friday night.  They had a great evening of reuniting with long lost fiends, with drinks, great conversation and a lot of laughter

Saturday evening continued with the actual formal reunion, which was held at Knollwood Country Club in Granger.  It was a great venue for the reunion where Seventy some classmates along with husbands, wives, friends and family came to celebrate the momentous occasion.
